Homerun.

 From Day:

To Night:

2.27.2014

Today I styled this cute baseball inspired dress that I found when I went to Vegas last week. I went to Vegas for the MAGIC fashion convention and let me just say that it was AMAZING! There was such great energy there and I found a lot of inspiration. I realized when I got home that we didn't take any pictures!!! (How disappointing) One of my favorite parts of the trip was going to a trend seminar which showed us all the predicted trends for spring and summer! A trend that I love is activewear, this was the main inspiration for these outfits.

I styled this dress two ways from day, to night. The first look I went for a casual, relaxed vibe. I paired the dress with these orange flatforms I got like two years, they are super old. I have been dying for the American Apparel leather hat for quite some time but couldn't justify spending over $60 on such a trend piece. I was overjoyed when I saw almost the exact same thing at Forever 21 for only $10!

Look two I wanted to contradict the sportiness of the dress with these girly Jeffrey Campbell heels. I don't think that anyone will believe me I got them for $30, they were originally priced at $180, gotta love those Urban Outfitters sales. I also picked up this clutch while on my trip for only $20 it is still available online (link down below). I think the entire look gives a effortless but still polished look.

Topshop X Adidas

Sportswear is no longer for the gym! The Uk-baised clothing company, Topshop and leading sportswear brand, Adidas have joined together to design a 20-piece collection. The collection is expected to release at Topshop stores and online on March 20th. The collaboration mainly consists of baggy hoodies, tailored tracksuits bottoms, athlete shorts, school-neck vests, and floral detailing. The pastel pallet will be perfect for spring and summer.

2.10.2014
Fur has been of my favorite trends and has been consuming the runways for Autumn/Winter 2014/2015. This was my take on incorporating fur in my wardrobe. I discovered this Zara vest for only $20 at a cute resale shop in Tucson. I decided to style my "Prada Wannabe" flatforms, that I posted about earlier, to complete the look.

Midi Skirt.

Topshop

2.7.2014
I have been drawn to the midi skirt trend for quite some time now but have had my reserves on how it would look on my figure. I also didn't want to spend the money on such a trend piece that might not be around next year. Luckily, I rediscovered this amazing midi skirt that was hidden in my closet! I originally bought this skirt over a year ago for less than $5 while thrifting. I find myself often mixing thrifted items with more brand name products to create a cohesive balance.

Wannabe Prada.

Prada Platform $490

Charles by Charles David $25

2.5.2014
I have had a crush on these amazing Prada platforms since I spotted Stephanie, from The Fashion Citizen, rock a similar version over 6 months ago. After keeping my eye out for the perfect pair of flatforms in my price range (Prada platforms range from $500-$750...yikes!) These Charles by Charles David platforms finally found me while I was shopping last night at Buffalo Exchange. Let me just say...they are perfect! They definitely give off that 90's fab-grunge vibe and will be a statement piece to any outfit.

New Beginnings.

2.4.2014
After putting this off for over a year, I have finally gained the confidence to just go for it. I decided that this would be the perfect way to figure out where I'm going in life and in my personal style. By documenting "Wear I'm Going" I hope to figure out more about myself and hopefully inspire someone along the way.
